A striking print featuring a minimal design of the Beetham Tower in Manchester illustrated with a quote about Manchester from Judge Parry.
Manchester Beetham Tower Print
This Manchester Beetham Tower print has fused Manchester’s past and present by using a traditional quote about the city and combining it with an architectural symbol of contemporary Manchester.
In 1912, Judge Parry wrote a book about his 25 years as a Judge in Manchester called, “What The Judge Saw”. In the book he quoted “For Manchester is the place where people do things…. ‘Don’t talk about what you are going to do, do it.’ That is the Manchester habit…Manchester became a synonym for energy and freedom and the right to do and to think without shackles.”
Manchester has as strong cultural heritage and over the years has been a leader in industry, creativity and the arts. The statement from Judge Parry is as true today as it was back then.
The monotone design is very eye-catching and the style of the typography engages the viewer. TheManchester Beetham Tower print would make a great addition to any home or office in Manchester. The minimal style of the piece enables it to work in any environment.
