Frightened Rabbit Print
Frightened Rabbit are a Scottish Indie band that formed in 2003. The band released their first album, Sing The Greys, in 2007. The lyric in this Frightened Rabbit print comes from Heads Roll Off from their critically acclaimed 2008 album, The Midnight Organ Fight.
Unfortunately earlier this year lead singer and founder Scott Hutchinson committed suicide. Throughout his career, Hutchison fought an on-going battle with mental health and depression. His lyrics often paint intense images of heartbreak, loneliness and even suicidal thoughts.
I was commissioned by a fan of Frightened Rabbit to produce this piece to commemorate Scott Hutchinson and his unbelievable song writing.
We have decided to release this Frightened Rabbit print to raise money to try and help more young men in similar situations to Scott. Therefore 25% of the cost will be donated to CALM, Campaign Against Living Miserably.
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is an award-winning charity dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK. In 2015, 75% of all UK suicides were male.
